homerun

Baseball. I’m a newbie to the game and I’m learning the rules which are bewildering to me, and no, it's not because I’m a girl. Plenty of women flow with the game just as naturally as water flows down the Mississippi. Being from the UK, my problem is Rounders. I played it at school as part of an all girls team, and had great fun lashing the ball around the field.
I also bagged a couple of solid catches but I was crap at bowling. Shifting my focus away from school games and onto athletic men who play to sophisticated rules is tough going. I am however, getting great cues from excellent players like Curtis Granderson who’s blog I’ve recently tuned into. Find him and others on ESPN.

Watch this video Curtis leaps over the wall to snatch a homerun away from Boston's Wily Mo Pena. Detroit won the July 8, 2007 game 6-5.
